On the occasion of Stelton's 60th anniversary in 2020, the timeless and classic Original flower watering can was relaunched.
Simultaneously, the relaunch was a tribute to Peter Holmblad who back in 1978 designed the watering can. Holmblad is the designer behind every product in the Original-series which is a central part of Stelton’s design DNA.
With its elegant idiom, functionality meets aesthetics and in addition to its original function: keeping flowers and green plants fresh, it is also a decorative sculpture when not in use.
The beautifully sculpted watering can maintains both its clean aesthetic and practical features. Thanks to the elongated, thin spout, the user can pour water in small plant pots without spilling a drop. The ingenious design also eliminates dripping. A rounded handle provides the perfect grip while complementing the angled spout with a generous curvature. The Stelton Original stainless steel watering can has a capacity of 1.7 liters, or about 57.5 fl oz. It’s the perfect gift for a green thumbed design lover, fans of Danish design, and anyone who loves beautifully minimalist home accessories.

Second hand item in great condition. I don’t know if this particular watering can is from the original production in the 1970’ and 80’ or if its part of the relaunch. Since it doesn’t have the STELTON engraving (new product) I believe it would have had the Stelton sticker that was used back then.
